Im having relationship problems and i really want your opinion?

Question

my bf has alot of problems going on in his life and it's stressing me out so much. im not sure if it should cause it not my life, but i care so much about the kid, it keeps me up some nights worrying about him

in the past 2 days he has

-been kicked out of his house

-late on his 350$ car payment, so his dad might take his car

-moved in with his cousin in the shadiest place i have ever seen ( like really im so afraid to come over but i dont want him to know that cause it would hurt his feelings)

-quiting his job ( which also upsets me cause we work together, thats how we met)

-has to find a job so he can afford rent and power bills

-not going back to school in the fall

like i love the kid he is so fun to be with. but i dont think i can handle his reality you know, im such a sheltered kid.

i dont even know HOW to pay a bill.

i would NEVER have to worry about my mother forcing me to move out.

it wouldnt even cross my mind at night " i hope there isnt a drive by. i hope no one breaks

He sounds like a typical 17 year old boy. Immature, irresponsible and not thinking about his actions. If he treats you good, then maybe I would stick around and talk to him and try to help him. I would chew him out if I were you and tell him how stupid his actions are and how you want to see him work hard and get an education and go somewhere with his life. If he treats you like c**p, then based on how he's being with everything else in his life, he probably doesn't care so I'd move on. I would tell him you have goals in life and you want to go somewhere with your's and if he's just gonna sit around dropping out of school and not working or doing anything with his life, then you'll have to let him go because you want someone who's going to motivate you to be your best and not someone who's going to hold you back. Tell him you really care about him, but you can't watch him ruin his life. Good luck. I remember those times back when I was that age. A guy is never worth ruining your own best interest.
