Im having trouble trying to turn with my longboard. Any Tips?

Move back on the board a little.

it will be hard. you just have to stay on the back of your board and try to go slow and try to do smooth turns.

Where are you trying to turn from?  Since you are having to move a lot of board you generally need to be farther back on your board.  If you're just doing little roller coaster carves you should be able to do that from the middle forward.

you need to lean back on the board about 70 degrees and than stay on the very back of the board.  That should do it pretty well.

Look and point your index finger the way you want to turn. This should align your body and turn the board.
