Im having xbox live connection problems.?

Question

My xbox 360 says i have a great connection, but when i try to play Call of Duty 4 Live it says i need to be sign in to do that. Also that i need an active network connection to play. But i have a good Connection and im signed in but it wont let me play.

If you have a credit card, you can buy a 1 month,3 month,or 12 month code through xbox.com or your xbox 360 itself. If you dont have a credit card, and have cash. You can go to your local store (Best Buy,EB Games, Future Shop) and buy a 12+1 prepaid xbox 360 live card. Only 1 year cards can be bought in Canada.

you need xbox live gold. It costs about $60 for 1 year, or $22 for 3 months. What I do is get my xbox live gold subscriptions from here:
