I`m homeless how can i get rehoused?

i`m a 23year old british male i used to have a flat in hertfordshire where i`m origanally from but i lost it due to rent arrears and was considered intentionally homeless. so i took off and headed for london where i`ve been staying with a work collegue thing is i lost my job hense unable to pay rent and was subsecuently made homeless yet again, i`ve been sleeping rough for a week now i`ve had the odd day staying in a night shelter but i don`t have a clue where to start with getting a permanant place to stay in london tower hamlets, has anyone got any advice? thanku

Try talking to SHELTER.  They can advise you.  Go to the local council and ask advice - they can tell you whats available in your area.  If its a case that you dont have a deposit for a private rented flat, go to your local jobcentre plus - they can arrange for deposits to be paid from the social fund. It has to be repaid but at a low rate according to what you can afford.  xxxxx
