I`m homeless how can i get rehoused?

i`m a 23year old british male i used to have a flat in hertfordshire where i`m origanally from but i lost it due to rent arrears and was considered intentionally homeless. so i took off and headed for london where i`ve been staying with a work collegue thing is i lost my job hense unable to pay rent and was subsecuently made homeless yet again, i`ve been sleeping rough for a week now i`ve had the odd day staying in a night shelter but i don`t have a clue where to start with getting a permanant place to stay in london tower hamlets, has anyone got any advice? thanku

  1. Try talking to SHELTER.  They can advise you.  Go to the local council and ask advice - they can tell you whats available in your area.  If its a case that you dont have a deposit for a private rented flat, go to your local jobcentre plus - they can arrange for deposits to be paid from the social fund. It has to be repaid but at a low rate according to what you can afford.  xxxxx


  2. just remember where you are today and don't accumalate rent arrears again .
