who would want to be ordered around when u have a perfect homeschool where u could have freedom- eat whenever u want ;D, learn at ure own pace, NOT HAVE TESTS(if u do, its not as big as a deal...), maybe not have homework >.<

I would inform him that you do have a life, and likely a more interesting one than him. You get to work at your own pace and learn when and where you want, while he is stuck in a regimented, dictated environement for 7 hours where he is told what to do and where to do it constantly!

Your friend may have been crude in the manner he phrased it, but you need to consider if there's truth in what he's saying. Your parents are not God. Getting a perspective on life from a range of people can only be good for you as you grow up. Since you don't go to school, what do you do for social activities?  School is not just a place for academic learning. It's also a place to learn how to deal with other people, and figure out where you fit in. I don't know your personal situation, but I fear you may be missing out on these important lessons, and end up socially handicapped when you grow up.

Hey, that friend can have some motive...perhaps the "friend" is envious or jealous...do not listen to such friends...you are what you want to be and you must try to be the best of whatever you are!!!

That isn't a very nice friend. I would just calmly say, "I have a life"...then don't hang out with him until he can be a real friend. I think it's terrible that kids pick on other kids for being homeschooled. In most cases, you are getting a better education than being in public schools. Good luck

I'm home school also and i consider myself as having a life, i have never been in a position where someone has told me to get a life but i can bet it isn't to fun, may bee he is jealous that you are home schooled? i have noticed that a lot of my friends are jealous that I'm home schooled, and they get kind of grumpy towards me sometimes but i just tell them that i care about my education and i dont really care what they say about it, just let your friend know that he can do what he wants and you will do what you want and he has no say in it and that he is entitled to his own opinion but you are also in titled to yours.
