Im in 8th grade. should i watch gossip girl?

i have seen previews and red some chapters of the books at barnes and noble and have seen some episodes at freinds houses. all of them talk about the show at lunch and im sitting thier agreeing with everything. i turn 14 in march (about 7 months away) and i just asked my mom if i can watch the new season.

i know whats going on because i get info on the net.

the main question: do you think im old enough?

I did in 8th grade, but, it's not like I told my parents what it was about lol. Not because they wouldn't approve, because they let me watch that kind of stuff, but because, it'd be embarrassing to tell them about iit's details.

just so you know, if you expect the show to be just like the books, you're wrong. its completely different.

i think that you are old enough. the question is are you mature enough? do you understand stuff like s*x and all that? cuz that's the major aspect of the show, and if you're ok with that, then you're good. from my personal experience, its an amazing show with lots of suspense and cliff hangers. have fun and enjoy!

yeah i read the books and 7th and watched the show in 8th. Even our language arts teacher would watch it and then the class would sometimes get off topic about it. It's the best show ever!
