  1. Langenscheidt's books really are the best.  If you really don't know what to say just say it in English.  Surely someone can help you.  Interacting with others and even TV are great sources of learning the language the best.  Viel glueck! (Good Luck)

  2. Ummm dude...... Did you see any people when you came to Germany??? They are the best way you can learn english..... so yeah...... fück the book!!  go out and talk to some chicks or something...... it will help you a lot more.......... whatever you do refuse to speak english.... thats how I learned..... Viel Erflog!!!

  3. The berlitz for travellers series is a cool set of books. It really helped me with my swedish. It puts the information in any travelling situation.

  4. "Silverea" gave you a good answer.  Langenscheidt's has very good dictionaries - and if you can, you also should buy some good text books with phrases from German to English (and back).  Go to a good bookstore in Berlin and ask for some good English/German or German/English text books!   Unfortunately, good books are a bit expensive over here in Germany.

    Good luck!

    Greetings from Germany...

  5. if yo have a computer - I heard that the Rosseta Stone language software is very good.

  6. just go to a lockal bookstore and get the

    Langenscheid's English /German book.
