  1. maybe take like a week off then start up again, it will give you more of a feeling to your stroke and you can have your coach watch you then start training for speed and endurance

  2. Well a 4:51 for a girl is pretttty good.  I go 4:48 but I'm a guy so you probably know more than me.  BUT I'm guessing that you should keep practicing and doing exactly what your coach says.  Maybe you should pump up the yardage in practice and that might help.  dunno

  3. Just stay with it, Ive gone through alot of slumps too. just train hard and it'll get better

  4. Even the best athletes go through slumps!  Keep on practicing, and I'm sure you'll get back to your old form...perhaps even better ;)

    good luck,

    steve

  5. don't worry, it's just a plateau moment, everyone has them. soon enough you'll have a breakthrough. it all depends on your state of mind. if you have a positive attitude and work hard, then you'll break new ground. it happens to everyone, and most people just end up quitting because they get frustrated. if you really love swimming, keep on going! you can do it!

  6. I know how you feel! But all you can do is believe in yourself and have faith in your abilities. Think positive, keep training hard, and talk to your coach about how you feel. Just have fun and don't put too much pressure on your self. Good luck!
