Im in a volleyball tournament next weekend, what should i do to prepare?

I wouldnt consider myself bad but im not an allstar either.

  1. Get lots of sleep, eat well, keep that body watered and make sure you take along Gatorade and fruit (bananas really help with cramping. . .).  Also make sure that you stretch well.

    As for you not being an "allstar", it doesn't matter - just never make yourself a liability.  Work with your team, and make them glad to have you out there.


  2. pack snacks like fruit and veggies. eat right get a good nights sleep bring water for before and after the game, and gaterade for during the game, and also take it seriously but dont stress bout it. i have a touirnament tomorrow and im excited. so try not to fight with ur teamates too. that really screws the whole team up (trust me we lost last year after this wopne mean girl yelled at this really sensitive girl and the sensitive one started crying so she coulndt play and then we were all really tense and it just went downhill form there). just dont take ur problems on the court.

  5. do what you normally do for a regular game. my tournament's coming up soon as well. treat it just like you would a normal league game because it's nothing more than that. newer teams. that's all.

  6. jus strech and don't think bout it jus say its another game and all that.....eat healthy and don't get worked up bout losein and jus have fun but not the fun to mess up but jus to keep u happy and not mad durin the game so u will focus

  7. Well just keep practicing......and try ur best. U can't really pre-pare other than to practice. u know the saying "practice makes perfect"
