don't you have Interflora or some other company ... where you can order flowers locally and they'll deliver in another place/country through a world-wide network?

having said that, though, Interflora can be expensive for what you get, and maybe the suggestion you've already had about contacting a florist local to your mum would be a better idea ... you could probably even do it by email to save expensive telephone calls

I agree with calling a florist local to your mother. If you have a credit card you should be able to just order over the phone.

You'll will also be able to ask questions and the florist should be happy to help you decide just what to get. They will even deliver it right to her!

I always use Interflora to send flowers here in Australia and overseas. They are safe and reliable to use. When I send flowers I do it on there Internet site. But you need a credit card.

What you do is have a look at all of there flower arrangements, then choose one you like, then request gets sent to the Interflora  shop that's the closest to the address you provided.

Then what they do is make a flower arrangement that looks the same as the one you choose. The only change they might make is if the flowers you choose are out of season, then they try to get the closest matching ones.

Have you got a credit card?  Or know someone with one, that can lend you some money to buy it?

If so then you could locate a florist in NZ where your mum is and do it all over the phone and they'll send it off to her. =)
