  1. Your interests are so diverse! I like to see that.

I would recommend doing some research to find out what each entails as far as: 1) How much school you will have to go through/degrees to earn.

    2) The careers available for each field.

    3) Where these careers tend to be located. Because you don't want to go to school then find out the best careers in your field tend to be in a place you dislike.

In the end go with what you enjoy the most. When I was choosing my college major I thought about going with what was easiest, but then decided to go with what I would enjoy most. So far it's been a little harder than my other choice would have been, but I'm having so much fun with it and am really enjoying learning.

  2. There is a lot of similarities in the type of job you can do between law and business especially if you get your MBA (Masters of Business Administration). I have not kept up on the job requirements as I used to for senior management roles but it used to be either a MBA or JD was required. For you in order to help you differentiate between the two and decide what you might like doing the question becomes do you prefer to the one being in charge or the one who is advising? If you like being in charge then a degree in business is more suited to you however if you are interested in an advising capacity then law might be more suited to you.

With that said there are many other areas in law besides business that you can do and the opportunities is almost endless so you need to begin to define over the next few years where you want to go. The main thing about law is that you need a strong university GPA (3.25+) with a good LSAT score, which is usually taken 2nd semester of you junior year or 1st semester of your senior, to get into law school. Business you can do at the bachelors level but if you want to go on to get your MBA then you will need at least a GPA of 3.0+ in university to be accepted. Also in regard to a business degree you can use it as your pre-law major. Moving on, In regard to Latin American studies it is a good degree if you combine it with business otherwise you may need to learn those immortal words, "would you like fries with that?" to prepare you for your glorious career in the service sector.

My advice for you is this consider majoring in business as you cannot go wrong with that major. As you go through your freshman year in university begin to notice where your interest lies and your grades. Also talk to people regarding law school and management school (graduate degree in business) to help you clarify your goals. As go though your sophomore year in university begin researching law schools to see if your grades meet their minimum requirements and also research management schools to see their entrance requirements.  Then in your junior year at university begin to take some steps towards your career choice and see if you can get some work experience in that area. If you are going to law school then you should take the LSAT in June and if you are going to management school take the GMAT and / or GRE if required. Senior year start making applications.
