  1. Well your 110m time isnt bad and your 300m time is pretty good compared to runners around here.. It wont hurt trying out..And you will probably make it at a small college.. your not oustanding but you are pretty good, and who knows the coaches may see alot of potential in you.. and if you try out and dont make it, dont stop training..and try out again the next season..coaches like to see dediaction, so youll make it eventually.. good luck

  2. Do it. One thing I am quickly learning is that it doesn't matter if you're the track star out on that college team or not. Who knows, maybe you will be, but let me tell you this, where is it going to take you if you don't even try. Don't sit when you're older regretting not doing it and never knowing if you would have done it or not. Remember, you only have 1 life here, live it to the fullest and don't waste it. Go for it and have fun doing it.

  3. you don't say what year you are or how long you've been doing the hurdles ~ if you're rather new at it, you're going to get better with experience . . . if not,  you can always try to walk-on and your best bet would be a D3 school but it never hurts to try and you may regret passing up the opportunity . . . pick a school for academics first and sports second  . . . ideally, your 110m hurdle time should be under 15 seconds or better and your 300m hurdle time should be under 39 seconds . . . good luck

  4. It's really up to you. A lot of kids that are just getting out of high school have the desire to continue to run track in college.

Running in college has its pros and cons. I'm currently not running in college. It gives me the opportunity to focus more n my education and experience the college life. At the same time, I have times when I really miss running competitively. Then, I've heard that for those who run in college normally enjoy it, especially if they just walk on. They form really great bonds with teammates and get to travel frequently. On the downside, you miss out on a lot of the things that are happening at your university/college.

Whatever you choose to do, be confident in yourself that you made the right decision for your life and goals.
