  1. My children were homeschooled. They all finally did graduate from High School. Two were on the Honor Roll.  I also went to college afterward to get my teaching degree. I don't teach now, but I am sympathetic to homeschooling. Public schools leave alot to be desired for many students. One size does not fit all.

You do have options as far as how you complete the requirements to graduate or to get a diploma. There is nothing wrong with applying to take the GED test. You might take your time studying for it. I found a site that offers lots of workbooks in all subject areas that would be really good. You can concentrate on your weak areas and then do well on the test.

I hope that you are getting the basics. Reading, writing, math and a good background in history and science. Look up GED online and see how what resources there are available in your area.

    Good Luck!!!!

  2. If you're in homeschool, why don't your parents just make you a transcript? You don't need a GED. and stuff.

  3. you need to get a better education that you are right now. What about CC? If you are 16 and above 10th grade some states have CC programs that will take you and you can get a proper education. Also, some states offer a proficiency exam in addition to the GED. GED exams generally are pretty poorly looked on in the education/school/college/workforce.

  4. it wouldn't be a good choice but it up to you what you want to do with you like... make it or ruin it

  5. The GED is a diploma so you do have that. no one will ask you which one you got. You still finished high school you just didn't graduate. I would say stick with school, you wont regret it later but you may regret getting your GED.

  6. It would beneficial if you could get your high school diploma instead of a GED.  Believe me, I know.  I quit home schooling to get my GED.

  7. Yes, if you answered other questions the way you asked this one.  "like stupid and stuff" is an indication that you lack the necessary language skills to proceed to your next level of education.

  8. Do some more studying before you try to get a diploma or GED . . .

  9. You would only seem stupid if you present yourself this way. Most intelligent people are rarely asked if they earned a high school diploma or got a GED. The big question is; are you mature enough to move ahead, are you motivated because you want to advance faster? Or are you trying to get out of work that will just haunt you later? If you are motivated, get your GED, then prepare for your SAT's. But continue with your education. It seems as though you might just be bored?
