  1. Those items wouldn't have existed when you were 2. It's amazing innit

  2. you are lucky he is using those and not swearing like old drunk thats what some 2 year old go through

  3. i think i spend too much time on the computer as my 3 yr old tells me she is just listing something on ebay!! while playing on her toy laptop.

  4. WELL,  these are every day items now. where as when we were young they were not.  we had ball......stick........cap pistol.

However, I can feel your pain. After expaining to him how we had typing classes when we were in school,  My son looked at me puzzled and asked  "Mom, what is a typewriter?"

  5. I told my 3 year old son to roll up his window (in the car) and he said "daddy, you don't ROLL it up, up PUSH it up."  I was amazed.  I haven't been in a car without automatic windows in quite a long time!

  6. forty years ago remote control, mobile phone, computer etc. wasnt invented as such, so you would'nt have known them

  7. What's weird is the way some of them speak to each other. It's a completely different language. They use English that I have never heard before, and they seem to know about everything.

  8. There are probably loads. It just reflects all the different things around the house that wouldn't have been around 30-40 years ago. It will be the same with our grandkids/great grandkids. Just as technology/life progresses, so does the everyday words that kids learn.

  9. I call my dog's v****a a ' buzzy '
