Guys please help me!! Im in the districks school running team. and i need to become a faster runner in a week or so. And Im not sure what to do to make me faster. What exercises can i do??

  1. There isn't a whole lot you can do at this point in time...maybe about 5 days before do some resistance training than 4 days before do accelerations for your event. I don't know what event you are running but for say it is the 400 jog the first 200 and than start picking up the pace until you are at full speed about 50 meters from the 400 mark. But once you hit the 400 mark don't stop funning push through for an extra 25 meters. After that day I would take it easy and just do some jogs or maybe some short sprints (nothing more than 50 meters) I have a weird training style. The day before any race I would do 5x500 meter repeats at 1 min 45 secs than that night I would eat chicken pasta and just chill out. Good luck with your race.


  2. beginners will slightly slow down at last half without realizing.

    tips for win is hang in the last half, especially last quarter, even if you feel hard, try to make your speed up.

    Just run alot and eat plenty of carbs before the race or w/e
