I got invited to hang out with my pen pal and all her friends since they go to that school and I really want to but im afraid to hang out with them because of meeting new people. I also am scared to leave my friends.

Help?

Also, i told my friend Lynn that it was boring just sitting here and she said "Why? Because you arent the center of attention" she has said that like 5 times already/

  3. go enjoy make some good memories may be leave your stuck up friend behind if she wants all the attention she should consult the nearest mirror.l.o.l

  4. It's great to meet new people....don't be scared...and definitely don't worry about what your other friends think of you meeting new people. If they are real friends then they will always be there....

  5. well you need to stop being scared. it is good to meet new people and make new friends. That is how we have so many peers, bestfriends and aquaintances. So just keep in mind that friends will come and go and we will always have to make new ones.

    Hope this helped you

  6. lynn sounds like shes struggling with her own issues of not being the center of attention, and is trying to project it on to you.

    ignore her.

you can still hang out with the new friends, ask them " hey is it cool if i get my old friends to come sit with us?" they should say yes.

if they dont, tell them you will sit withthem another day and sit with your old friends.

its not worth it to risk good friends that have been there for you for new friends that wont even accept your other friends.

its always verygood and smart to branch out and meet new people, but dont ever ever ever forget people who have been there for you in the past, and dont take them for granted either.

you can find a balance and you will be much happier that way.

as for being scared to talk to them, just talk to them like you would your old friends. if they see you are comfortable with them (even if you fake being comfortable) they will accept you more readily.

  7. just go ahead and make new friends its not going to hurt you :D

and just ignore your friend.. i bet she is jealous and worried about you making new friends and forgetting her?

  8. take a friend to hang with you. if she can bring her friends im sure you can bring one of them. and if worst comes to worst get her to call you and tell your friends your mom called and she wants you back home.

  9. It is okay to have new friends...like the saying

Make new friends but keep the old...

  10. Hang out with those friends for a couple of days. Then decide if you still want to hang with them or not. If not defiantly make new friends! Some good ways to make new friends is talk to some people that sit beside you in class, talk to people around your locker, and what i do sometimes is go up to a group of people and start talking to them.

      I hope this helps :3

  11. join your pen pal and her friends

meeting new peoples alwasy great and you will have new friends to hang with when your old ones annoy you

    xoxo

    good luck and have fun

  12. Don't let other people hold you back, gho hang out with your pen pal and her friends. You can always try and get your new friends to hang otu with your old friends.

  13. I think it is great that your pen-pal invited you to hang out with her! You should definitely hang out with her and her friends. Also, Lynn doesn't sound very nice. You should gauge things and see how she treats you later on, because if she doesn't change then she doesn't deserve you.
