Im in need of some religious help.?

I'm ignostic and my mom is trying to change me back into a christian....Help.

  2. I'm guessing you mean agnostic.

    Well, first off how old are you? Second, you can tell her that no matter what actions you may end up doing, even if you go to church, its not going to make you believe anything in your heart different.  You are going to believe what you are going to believe, no matter what she tells you to do.

    The very first responsibilty that a Christian has is to lead their family to Jesus.

    There is only one Way to have Eternal Life and that is by being a Christian that puts their faith in Jesus for everything.

    Consider what your mom is trying to do for you.  Sit down and listen to her.  Take time to ask her what her reasons are and why becomming a Christian and leading a life that is pleasing to Jesus is so important to her.

    You may be surprised at the answers and I hope you will be eternally grateful.

This is something that you need to figure out for yourself.  I was agnostic until I was 20, then I came back to the Catholic Church.  It was the church and the religion that worked for me.  Regardless of what anyone tries to tell you, God gave you a brain to think for yourself.  If you are agnostic, be agnostic.  Ask your own questions and search for your own answers.  Faith isn't something that can be forced on you, it isn't something you can buy and it isn't a competition.

    I am sure your mother is doing what she thinks is best for you, but like most things in life, you need to find your own answers.

Pray about it.  And even if you dont believe it, ask your mom to pray for and with you.  Keep an open mind and listen to your mom's side of the situation.  Sit down with her and tell her your side.  Why dont you believe in Jesus?  He loves you, so whether you believe in him or not, try to keep and open mind.  Go find him!
