  1. Run some really hot water over a face cloth/flannel and squeeze some out then fold it up and hold it up to your eye the heat helps the cyst/stye to disappaer.

  2. Sounds odd but put kettle on, brew yourself a cup of tea, use the tea bag as hot as you can stand it on your eye, just relax for a while with it on. The heat and something in the tea (tannin i think) works on drawing out the c**p inside. Do this a few times over the next few hours and you should find relief.

BTW....You need to remove teabag from your cuppa before you add milk and sugar

  3. Go see a doctor.

  4. Bathe your eyelid with some salt water - it helps to draw the infection out.  Just use some cotton wool to dab it onto your eyelid.

It's an awfully painful thing, i would go to your GP to see if they can give you something to rid you of it quicker, but in the meantime i would try the salt water.

    Feel better soon!

  5. You can use a hot/warm compress, take some advil or Tylenol for the pain, see your doctor to make sure if you need some antibiotics.

  6. ask ur doctor

  7. its more likely to be a pouk

  8. Have to agree with CarrieDo, warm teabag on the eye. A very old method which always works.

Good Luck. If no better tomorrow, Docs for you.

  9. If its painful, then its actually more likely to be  a CYST not a sty, which means a minor operation will be used to remove the lump, and viola, no more pain...

good luck! and see you doc, he will confirm whether its a cyst or not, and can book u an appointment.

  10. Go see a pharmacist they should be able to advise you on an over the counter ointment.
