  1. First of all, it'd be good to know at least in which country you are in, and if in Canada or the US, which province or state you are in. We can't do much for you without knowing roughly where you are.

Second, are you looking to go through an online program? Do you want it to be online public school if it exists or a private program? What is your understanding of homeschooling exactly? Homeschooling isn't the same as online schooling. If you are looking to do online schooling, your local homeschooling laws may not apply. And what is available will depend on where you are.

If you go with a private distance learning program/online school, then the cost will be dependent on what that school charges.

You would be able to switch out of your public school immediately.

As for the block scheduling, what your school did has nothing to do with what you do in an online program or through homeschooling.

  2. hey tell her about connections academy.

its a free online public school but it feels more like homeschooling because you can do it from home.

i go there and its soooo cool.

it takes 1/2 the time to finish the school work and no homework!!!!and sometimes you only have 2 classes to take a day.

its a real school with real teachers and real classes, check this website out, it will tell you everything.

online school is sooo much fun, you should try it.

  3. I use Penn Foster High School.

It's $985.00 for all four years of high school.  If you have credits from another school you can transfer them and your tuition will be less.

Also, If you can't put down the full amount, it's ok.  With Penn Foster you can make monthly payments of $34.00 a month.

You will have to go to www.hslda.org to find out how to transfer out of the current school you are in.  hslda.org has all the laws for homeschooling for each state, so look up your state and go from there.

  4. i was homeschooled in high school, and a really good math program is math u see, i loved it, afnd i made it sooo easy. it's www.mathusee.com and it is a decent price too...and a really good english program is easy grammer plus..i loved it also .....it's at www.easygrammer.com   but  if you consider getting them, i would check on ebay or www.half.com first, they might be cheaper there.

  5. dont get homeschooled, high school is the best years of your life, believe me

  6. You wouldn't have to take any classes over again.  You would just choose the subjects you need and take those.

Look into your states laws to see the process for getting started:

Then choose a curriculum. Some good providers are:
