Habitat does not have headquarters in CA.

  1. We built a house for a family.  We organized at the local realty association which helped with some funds. Try them. /


  2. It doesn't have an HQ in California, but there are many clubs on school campuses (high school and college).  You can also try googling your local volunteer website.

    If you're interested in helping people after a disaster, you might want to try the Red Cross.  They also have youth clubs (or adult training, I don't know how old you are).  Also, joining your local church(synagogue..sp?...mosque, temple, etc) will probably help you to get more involved with helping people
