  2. Yeah, I've answered this question before, so I'll just copy and paste...

    First of all:

what you need is someone who can teach you how to ride..WHO IS NOT YOUR BOYFRIEND..preferably an instructor.

    Secondly:

Get  good quality helmet, boots, gloves, goggles, and suit.

    Thirdly:

Find a bike that is light weight, suitable for your height and weight. Because you are just starting, you need to be able to put your feet flat on the ground when you are sitting on the seat.

Before you search for a bike, ask your self:

Am I the person who takes it slow, or who likes to take risk?

If you like to take it slow, then a small 4 stroke is for you.

If you like to take risks, then a small 2 stroke.

And as you do further readings, you will find most websites suggest a four stroke as a beginner bike. Being a girl, I will also suggest a four stroke beginner bike, I don't want you to bruise up your pretty face, that will just be wrong.

The "beginner bikes" from one of the webpages (first one) I gave you suggests:

    XR 100, XR200, TT125, DR200..

If you aren't prepare to spend too much money,

then consider a small four stroke pit bike. It will still have all the bike controls you need to learn...front/rear breaks, clutch, throttle...etc

After you got all your gear,

find a big open area and start learning.

If there aren't anyone around to teach you the basics, then join a class..

  3. If you are actually intending to race then you would need a bike suitable for racing which excludes any of the trail bikes such as ttr125, klx125, crf150f, or anything like an xr100 as they are not designed to race motocross as the suspension is not designed for jumping and you risk hurting yourself if you do jump them.

It does cost quite a bit to set yourself up with a bike suitable to race and all the gear like pants, jersey, boots, helmet, gloves, shin guards, elbow guards, googles  ect.   and then you have to consider maintaining the bike and how you intend to get it to and from the track. Entry fees to race and fees to join a club.  Also cost of joining the governing body of what ever country you are in for motosport.  If you are an Australian you would also need a licence to race and 5 hours of training before being allowed to do so, but that only applies to Australia and other countries do not require this.

You don't say how old or how tall you are so that makes it harder to suggest a bike, but you could look at an 85cc 2 stroke, a crf150r, or if you are a tall older teenager perhaps even a 250cc 4 stroke

You should contact your local club and find out what is involved to join and ask what classes they have available for girls your age to race in.  Some have girls only races so you don't have to mix it with the boys till you are ready.

Once you have an idea of what bike go along to a few shops and sit on a few to get an idea of what feel right to you.  Then when you have all the gear and bike, attend practice days so you get the feel of being on the track with other bikes as it is a lot different than just trail riding when you have a fast bike pushing on your back wheel.  If faster riders come up from behind just hold your own line and trust that they know where they are going as it is more dangerous it they have a rider doing unexpected things.

Give yourself the time to get used to start line procedure and find out the club rules and what all the flags mean so you know what to do when one is waved at you.

    Most of all enjoy yourself.

  4. go into a motorbike shop and ask about the price of rides where to get training etc etc......they can help better then most of us.

motorbikes r fun once u get to no the bike and once u get confident enough.
