  1. Harajuku fashion is increasingly popular in America, and  clothes from the real Harajuku are much better than the "Harajuku Girls" imitations one finds in the US.

If not, you have lots of other options. I have been there twice, and one time I got my girlfriend some sakura (cherry blossom) earrings, and the other time I got both of my parents very beautiful kimonos.

Most importantly, shop with her in mind, and don't buy a gift thats very "crazy" if she likes more plain things (and vice versa, of course)!

    Good luck!

  2. If your in tokyo,

    Try kiddieland.

Really cute stuff, Most ages you can shop for there.

If not theres like geisha type souveniers most palces

  3. get her one of those dresses

  4. Just bring her back anything that reminds you of her, or something that she would appreciate.

  5. InTokyo/Harajuku/Oriental Bazar  you will find a lot of japanese gifts. price is not really expensive according to quality of stuffs.

For a girl you can bring back very nice summer kimonos.
