  1. well, Im in high school and we dont always wear concealer, or foundation. But concealer is for covering up blemishes and stuff.  But mascara and eye liner is something you may want to learn how to put on. Mascara is easy but eye liner takes a while. Good luck in high school!!! ( just look at pictures in magazines to see how there eye liner is)

  2. well dont wear to much conceiler and foundation, Just dab Some conceiler on any impurities. And then apply foundation.. Once thats done Apply your powder. If you have good skin then skip all this.

DONT do your eyes before you face,

Dont put eye liner on the water line without putting it on the top of your eye.

I Suck at explaining makeup.. Gah. LOL GOOOOODDLUCKK.

  3. Face:

Before foundation, you might want to apply a primer. Rimmel's Fix and Perfect primer is good, just apply a dime size on your whole face.

Foundation OR tinted moisturizer. If you don't need the coverage of foundation, don't use it, use tinted moisturizer. Covergirl CG Smoothers is a good tinted moisturizer and Loreal Bare Naturale is a good foundation.

Apply foundation / TM evenly all over face and down neck. Use little at first, then add more if you need it. For liquid foundation / TM, you can use your fingers, a foundation brush (best), or a sponge. Make sure to blend. For powder, you can apply with a powder brush (best) or a sponge.

You'll need a powder to set your foundation / TM I think translucent is the best, but you can also use finishing powder. Covergirl, NYC, Loreal Bare Naturale, Maybelline and Rimmel all have transluscent powders.

You can apply with a powder brush (best) or a sponge.

For concealer, you can use powder, stick, or liquid. I personally like liquid or powder. A good liquid is Maybelline Mineral Power concealer. A good powder is Loreal Bare Naturale. For stick, i haven't used any in years, but Rimmel and NYC have them. You can apply with your fingers (best), a sponge, or a concealer brush (other best).

    Cheeks:

For blush, you will need a peach color or a pink color. You can have both. You just smile, then apply blush to the apples of your cheeks (the fat part) then blend back towards your ear.

If you use bronzer, just apply a little bit in the shape of a 3 from your temples, around your eye, to your mid cheek, and down your jaw line.

Apply blush and bronzer with a small powder brush.

    Eyes:

A good base for eyeshadow is Loreal De-Crease or Neutrogena Eye Tints.

For eyes, keep it natural. Use light eyeshadow colors like beige, pink, and brown. Just sweep it over your lid and blend out any harsh lines.

Use brown eyeliner on your top lid only, thinner towards the inside, and thicker towards the outside.

For mascara, you could use brown or black.

    Lips:

I would keep it simple, a light pink lipgloss or lipstick. Maybe a nude color also. Just apply a thin layer of gloss/lipstick on your lips, maybe apply a lip balm before.

    Hope this helps!

  4. Foundation is a powder thing that you put all over your face to make it darker or lighter. Eyeliner is a liquid or pencil that you apply under your eyes. Eye Shadow is sort of a powder you apply above your eyes. Lip Gloss is something you apply to your lips. =) =) If this is not what you meant, then I'm Sorry xD =] xD

  5. Well I cant tell you what foundation and concealer will personally work for you.  You will find out through time that it is the hardest thing finding the perfect foundation.  I personally wear Covergirls AquaSmooth foundation.  It is a cream to powder foundation which is known for giving you a "matte" finish, which basically means smooth or flawless.  I suggest applying some type of lotion before you put on foundation.  It helps to hold the makeup.  The amount you put on depends on your skin.  If you have a lot of blemishes, you might have to go heavier on your foundation.  Once you start applying it you will know how much you need.  Just make sure you blend well and you will be fine.  Also make sure you apply to your neck so your face isn't a different color from your neck.

  6. mascara: use the volumizing kind with one white brush and one black . . the curve part goes to ur eyelashes if the brush is curved (which it should be) . . make sure u dont put on too much and use a declumpifier . . on the top and bottoms . . just not as much on the bottoms. only colors if it matches ur outfit.

eye shadow: no nude ar pink colors . . if u want sumthing neutral try white. or silver. or gold. make sure it matches ur outfit (jewelery included).

eye liner: no brown. only black. i dont use eyeliner. i use mascara. put mascara more towards the outer edge of you eye (only the non waterproof). then smudge it lightly so it looks like eye liner . .

foundation: get one thts as close to ur skin tone as possible. rub it using a pad all over ur face. if u do this, no concealer is necssary.

powder: after foundation, (using a powder brush) put the powder on all over ur face so ur face doesnt look greasy . .

blush: apply after powder and foundation. get a brown color blush and a pink one. apply the brown all over ur face so it doesnt look greasy or like an old lady . . then put the pink on on just ur cheeks . .

lip stick/gloss: do not wear red. try a neutral or a soft pink lip stick. then apply a clear gloss.

also: if u dont tweeze ur eyebrows: get a clear mascara and put one dot on each of ur eyebrows. then shape them.

cleaning your face before any makeup is applied:u can use the neutrogena wave it works great removes makeup oil n much more

  8. You only need to splurg with your foundation and concealer.

I do not recommend foundation at all. Use a tinted moisturizer. It's good for your skin, healthier, and looks more natural. It also has SPF. I use Stilla.

If you don't want to pay this much, then use something like neutrogena or another makeup brand that has tinted moisturizer.

If you NEED concealer, than use Smashbox. It is the best I've ever used and will cover up practically ANYTHING! I love it and it's well worth the $18.

I don't know what color your eyes or hair is, but keep the eyeshadow simple and fun. Pinks, silvers, and shimmery colors are the best for you.

    brown eyeliner. black mascara.

    Pink/Coral/Clear lip gloss.

Hope I could help! Good luck!

  9. First of all, all the makeup i say can be found at a drugstore. (Walmart, Target, Walgreens....)

EYESHADOW:, the BEST is intensi-i-color from Almay. Here's a picture of what your eyes would look like..

    http://www.uniprix.com/2images/common/i_...

    IT looks really good.

Also corals, dark and sandy browns, and pinks look great!

EYELINER: i would wear a brown LIQUID eyeliner. Liquid looks a lot more smooth and refined. It's a little more tricky to apply, but just use a cu-tip with water to erase you mistake. Pencil eyeliner looks a little rougher and not as "clean." I would also suggest Almay liquid eyeliner in brown.

MASCARA: A lot of people are getting all hyped up about Lash Blast, but it's not out of the ordinary, it's ok. I really think you should try Max factor mascara in black/brown. it looks like this..

FOUNDATION: The best is Physician's Formula mineral wear. It's made by professionals and looks FLAWLESS! But before i put on that i put on Rimmel London long lasting foundation. I takes away my zits so you can't see them andteh Physician's Formula makes your skin look natural and finishes it off for a very natural refined look. Plus, you can buy both of them for 5 dollars less than one foundation from bareminerals! Great deal!

BLUSH: purminerals blush looks the most natural and brings out your natural beauty instead of taking it away.

CONCEALER: You don't need a fancy concealer, just one to get the job done, i have Covergirl concealer and it works great.

LIPSTSICK/LIPGLOSS: don't go for any reds for school. Have pinks and light reds stay by your side. I suggest Rimmel London lipgloss is GREAT. It lasts a while and has a great taste! Or i would get L'Oreal's infallable lipglosses. They are guarenteed to last 6 hours, but they're 8 bucks a lipgloss. For lipsticks, apply them first then you'll apply the lipglosses. I would suggest Revlon's lipsticks. They have about a billion to choose from!

    Good Luck Freshie! (freshman)
