You are not shopping for the "best model car". This is a human being......What are you gonna look for? Eye color? Skin tone? If the smile is good enough for you?

This is what we teach people becoming adoptive parents and foster parents in the training that is needed in order for them to become licensed:

"We find familes for children and not children for families"

Read that statement and understand it.......

When I facilitate when I need to find a foster/adoptive home for a child that needs placement...and they start asking questions like that...eye color hair color etc etc.... We tend not to call back nor place a child in a home like that. Just wanted to share
