Question:

Im just starting out in golf and want to get a set for around 100 to 200 pounds, any reccomendations?

I'v heard Maxfli are good, looking for a set containing irons (with wegdes), woods, putter, and bag. Could u give me the name of the set, manufacturer and reccomended retailers please :)

  1. if your are just starting dont buy anything too expensive.. once you get to know what you are doing then go test some clubs out and decide what you like


  2. older cleveland iron sets like the ta5, tommy armour 845s if you can find them. any steel shafted cavity back you like the look of.

    any wedge is the same as any other if you're just starting out. buy an older ping putter or maybe an odyssey. if you have play it again sports over there check them out, and go to places that sell used clubs as well as ebay. enjoy.

  3. Rock Bottom Golf has a large selection of equipment, including complete sets like what you are looking for. They also ship internationally, and have some good coupons available online if you find something you want to buy.

    There are plenty of other online retailers, but I always start at Rock Bottom. Do a search for "discount golf" and you should find a good list of retailers.
