I was really clueless myself... Had bought books... Looked up thousands of websites, and just couldn't get my "self-taught" career off the ground lol. I found an awesome program at http://www.teamguitarcourse.com and it got me going so fast. Thought I'd share since everything I had found searching the web got me nowhere.

You can also go to YouTube and search for scale lessons and stuff and watch the vids, I find it's a rather easy way to learn.

they have a sections for lessons, tabs , reviews and more. Also there are some lessons with videos attached for easier understanding.

Just be patient guitar can't be learned over night.
