...if you were to overdose on sleeping pills, would you feel pain, or would it be just like going to sleep?

  2. Well I don't know if it puts you to sleep and you die. As far as I know overdosing on any pills is painful.

    I've also heard it is excruciatingly painful.  

  4. basically you're trying to shut your body down, but the chemicals inside you are going to react with it. So this results in a chemical OD creating an unbalance in your blood. Can you imagine all your white blood cells fighting off a huge amount of prescription pills? NOT GOOD!!! it will absolutely be painful!

  5. Nothing and no one is worth your life.. There will always be something better to come along just have some faith.. Just so you know you could wind up a vegetable is that what you want? Don't cut your life short just because you can't handle something .. Just remember it will only make you a stronger person in the end we all have trials we must walk.

  6. I think when you OD on pills you actually start vomiting and then fall asleep and choke on your vomit. Not a pretty way to go.

What a sad topic.  More than worry about what that experience would be like...I think you might wonder how 'passing on the pain' will be for those who love you...and, then there's the concern that after having taken 'whatever' that one might see the 'error of their decision' and cannot make ones body take the steps to reverse the situation...now, THAT'S PAIN...

    See, 90% of the time you DON'T overdose. Believe it or not, your body is smart, and detecting something foreign in huge amounts in your stomach it'll make you vomit. And vomit. And vomit. For HOURS.

    Its one of the most painful experiences anyone can have.

    but to answer you question if you do manage to over dose your heart stops basicly you cant breath

  12. Please, something like this isn't worth wondering about. There are some horror stories here about more pain when your body tries to reject an overdose. It doesn't seem like a very good thing to try.

  13. Its never good to overdose anything..I would assume you would feel extreme pain, or might lose your life from it..

    EDIT: zellparis, how can you even say things like that? just because you dont agree with the g*y style of living, you think you can just go on causing hurt to others and continue saying things like that. were humans too, and if you think that "God" is going to be letting you into heaven just for living a straight life,  while youre wishing death upon others, you better think again.

  14. If you don't die it's painful. Extremely. If you want to forcibly shut your body down for good, there's no easy way to do it and there's no easy way to go.

  16. the thing that happens in your body when you overdose with sleeping pills is that the inner workings of your body, including the lungs, shuts down.  Your lungs fill up with liquid and you drown...

    As for what you might feel, as far as I know no one has ever come back to life to say whether or not it hurt.
