  1. my baby had it until he was like 7 months old. although it wasnt very bad it was still there. i would put a little bit of baby oil on a soft baby brush, and lightly brush his head while in the bath.

  2. I would use olive oil or even natural baby oil.  Burt's Bees is nice.  Don't use petroleum based baby oils like Johnson's.  Petroleum and artificial fragrances can irritate skin further.  Put the oil on, let it sit for a while, then wash it off with a natural shampoo like California Baby or Burt's Bees.  A rough washcloth or a baby brush can help.

I wonder why that first moron can swear and the computer doesn't asterisk him out?  Maybe because he's shouting?

  3. Cradle cap is just dry skin, nothing to get excited about. I rubbed baby oil on my babies head after her bath and it cleared up after just a few days. It's good to do after the bath because the skin is nice and moist and the baby oil helps hold that moister in.

  4. I followed my pediatricians advice even though it sounded weird to me. Apply olive oil with a soft brush or soft toothbrush.  Leave on for a few minutes then give bath and shampoo hair.  After a few days it was gone and never came back.

  5. i just rubbed it off. they say dont but my baby didnt seem to mind, he didnt loose any hair or anything. but i was just at the doctor and she said use head and shoulders because its just like baby dandruff. but i scratched it off and it hasnt been back yet

  6. my doctor told me to use a little bit of selsun blue (dandruff shampoo) and make sure you rinse it well.  Def. keep it out of the babies eyes because it is not tear free.  It worked for my baby,  then I just brushed the top of his head with a baby brush.

  7. it goes off on its own. oil is enough.

  8. I would use baby oil. I know it's bad and you aren't suppose to pick at it, but I always did with my daughter, and that seemed to help. I hated it, she even got it in her eyebrows too. I think they have a lotion with baby oil in it. That might help too.

  9. You can buy stuff for cradle cap, but you can also just put some baby oil in your kids hair after a bath, then take a brush and comb through it. The dryness will actually start flaking off.

  10. Heres what I do. I just wash my babys head off and right after the bath take a small baby comb and comb it out. It takes about 20minutes but it works for me and my babys never seem to mind. Nothing else is realy needed.

  11. Ive heard baby oil even though its messy,

  12. oh gosh... dont pick at it. it only aggrivates the scalp and causes it to flake more over time...

there is a shampoo that you can buy... here let me get you the link.

I bought it and used it for about 3 or 4 baths... worked in no time. hasnt been back.

    good luck

  13. Use baby oil during the night and brush it in the morning.  Brush the baby's hair everyday.

  14. dont ever rub it dry or with nails.in most cases that leads to infection and smelly head.what you can do is put too much of oil in babies head in one go.not just like we just rub bit of oil.you need to put around 20 times more than that n than gently rub that cradle cap with finger tip.it will start coming off..then give baby a wath.try for three four days .dont do that in one go as babies hair  and sking is soft they can come off with rubbing.DONT RUB THE SOFT AREA AT ALL.MY BABY HAS BIT OF CRADLE CAP THEIR AND I DONT MIND IT ATALL.if its not going u dont need to be that much worried.it will go eventually if you dont even rub and keep puting baby oil in hair

  15. I didn't want to use baby oil on my daughter cause it gets everywhere so I used Gerber's grins and gggles moisturizing stick. It's fragrence free and hypo allergenic, it's thick and won't get in your baby's eyes.

  16. I know this may sound gross to you, but use baby oil and then you can either rub it with your hands, a wash cloth... or my sister used a toothbrush!! It doesn't hurt the baby.

  17. Olive oil or flax seed oil rubbed on you baby's head and let it sit for a minute or two then wipe it off.

  18. Baby oil on a brush after the bath, and in the bath, put some baby shampoo on a washcloth and gently scrub it off.
