Just a few mins ago on my left eye, there are like a little spot (well not really), but it was kinda blurryish on my left eye.

Um, I read on this website that ''Seeing spots, flashes of light or wiggly lines in front of your eyes. These are called floaters. They are also a natural part of getting old.'' means you have eye cancer. Um... I'm kind of scared

  1. I have them .last time I saw an eye dr, he said no problem

  2. Well from your statement, I can't really tell what you saw (little spots, a little spot, no spot, or just blur?), but if you look up floaters online, there will be pictures of what they look like.

If that's what you have, then yes, it is normal.  It just means that a little piece of the back of your eye has broken off or some of the liquid in your eye has clumped together and is floating inside your eye.  Sounds kind of dangerous and weird, but it's normal.  It has nothing to do with eye cancer.

If you notice A LOT of floaters at once (like rain or a curtain), that can be a sign of a retinal detachment, which is not normal and is considered an emergency situation.  It can be accompanied by flashes of lights, blacked out vision, or blurred vision.

If your left eye was just blurry for a moment, it was probably just strained or something.  If it becomes blurry a lot or if it remains blurry, you should see an eye doctor.  It could be anything from just needing glasses to a sign of diabetes.  Blurred vision can be a result of many things and you would need an exam to know what is causing it.
