  1. its not a ghost. if you do a finger print test, you will find that the finger prints are either belong to you or your family members who has touched the mirror before. when you touch a mirror, the reason we leave finger prints is the body oil or dirt from your hand. normally we cant see it. but steam or fog cant cover oil and dirt. thats why you see finger print or hand print. its not supernatural. its natural.

  2. The oils in our skin, and hands, are very potent. Glass behaves like a liquid at room temperature. It can absorb the oils from our skin. When you increased the humidity in the room, the temperature also changed, making the oil print visible. It may have been there for years. Really.

  3. It could be, but there is no way for us to know for sure.

Do you have any room mates that maybe could have touched the mirror, if not then maybe you have some thing going on in your place.

  4. if there was any other signs I say yes, but most normally think if there's a ghost the house is haunted. . . unless the spirit is harmful it's not haunted. paranormal for a little girl. . . I think not. Just a small girl lost.

  5. YES

  6. well if you have ever had product or really oily hands then you could have possibly touched the mirror before you were taking the shower.. and your product/oil is still there

I wouldn't get freaked out.. because.. it could have been someone in your house *like parent/person*

    or whatever..

    haha

but yeah..i dont think that was the paranormal..

i think you are just paranoid

  7. You people tickle me. There are no such things as ghosts.

  8. No, Sorry.I don't think it is paranormal.

  9. don't freak out, but listen If you do, rub shaving cream (not gel) into the mirror and wipe off the excess. Your mirror will be fog free for a month or so.

  10. it could be paranormal. if you have felt in thing going on in your house it could be a ghost then. if you don't like it just call out to it and tell it to go to the light and to go home and this might work, but if this is not an earth bound spirit than it may be a relative that may be just visiting you they will move stuff or make butterflies appear stuff like that just to let you know that they are there both earth bound and regular spirits that are just visiting will never hurt you so dont be afraid if you ever see orbs (balls of light) those are angels

  11. Somebody could have touched it the last time a shower was taken and it was a residual print.

  12. Glass can look clean but have tiny traces of oils etc. on it for months. When it steams up, you can get patterns appearing. I see this regularly with the windows in my home.

Spirits or ghosts (if they existed) can't interact with the real world, and don't leave hand prints.

  13. It is not paranormal. Mirrors can retain hand prints and such for long periods of time. Even if you clean it real good  with a degreasing cleaner, sometimes an image can be etched in the mirror.

One true experience I had was I was at a hotel that is supposed to be haunted. It is an old hotel and one legend is in a certain room when the mirrorr fogs up you see the words, Help Me written on it.

When I stayed in that room I checked the mirror real thoroughly and under bright lights I discovered that these words were on the mirror, but not visible under normal lights and sure enough when I ran the bath water the words Help me appeared.

I do not think it was the management of the hotel because you could tell the mirror was very old and I think that just over time people wrote these words over and over to freak people out and it became etched in the mirror over time and many owners.

Yes, I do believe in the paranormal, I just am not too eager to see the paranormal in ordinary explainable situations.

  14. its not that simple to say you know you DIDNT do something. i have the best memory of anyone i know, and yet i still make mistakes like that. for instance, i was in the kitchen one day. i was preparing dinner, cutting up steak. so when i was cleaning up, i saw a  giant knife and blood. i thought there was a murderer in my home. i got myself fixed on the thought that a bad guy was in my house, so that's what i though.

you see the human mind isn't all what it seems to be. it does play a few tricks here or there.

  15. I guess the questions I would ask are:  1.Do you rent.  2. Is your landlord kinda creepy. 3. Does he have small hands.

If you answer yes to any of the above questions change the locks.  If you answer yes to all, MOVE OUT.

  16. eri beat me to it, she's exactly right. It's either that or someone played a joke on you.

Besides, ghosts don't have hands (or bodies for that matter), so how could one leave a print?

  17. Who wants to tell this girl there's a ghost in her house?Step up,tell her there's a spook in her shower. Then go live with yourself.

  18. If you or someone else touches a mirror at any time, not just when it's foggy, the oil left by your skin will sometimes keep the fog from forming there.  You could have done it weeks ago.  It's not paranormal.
