  1. ok I'm going to try my best to explain how to do it...

    a heel-flip is opposite of a kick-flip, so instead of flicking your foot your going to flick it the other way with your heel (duh). so you start with putting your back foot in the middle of the tail and your other foot is going to be almost all the way on the board with just your toes hanging off, then you can get your heel ready to come forward and flick.

    ((and just a tip: when your popping and flicking, you want to make sure your just flicking with your leg, and you don't throw your whole body with it or your going to land in front of your board and not be able to land))

  2. I'm not sure why you're heelflips turn into varials, but a important thing to remember is when doing heelflips you don't really use your heel for the flick. You actually use the ball of your foot. I think heelflips are easier when your toes are barely hanging off the board.

  3. lean back more (towards your back foot) i had the same problem it'd go into a varial and i'd land infront of it
