yes you do because the republic of ireland where dublin is located is not a part of the united kingdom so you will need a seperate visa

Fly to Belfast and just get the bus or train down to Dublin, only 2 hours travel time, no border checks there, sure its worth the look...........

Yes because Dublin is not part of the UK.  Uk includes Northern Ireland but not Eire (or Southern Ireland) where Dublin is.

Anyway yes you do because Ireland is not a part of the UK unless you are going to Northern Ireland

To live or work or study in Dublin or Republic of ireland you do need a visa for ireland as Ireland IS NOT PART OF THE UK. You can work in Belfast as it is. Just for a holiday I don't no.
