  4. I visited England a year ago.from Australia. Its so over crowded.I just could not beleive it I wasn't impressed...I guess in a way we are spolt here in Australia. We have wide open spaces....Houses with large back-yards with fences. And we have lovely parks and beautiful Beach's ,If you don't have a car,You can go by bus or trans....We have Lovely Rivers too....And skat-board Parks too.Bowling Alleys.....We have B.M.X.Parks too...Also Motor-bike clubs for kids to of all ages....net-ball.base-ball.basket-ball.f... clubs too,all for different ages too.also for adults too.Ice-skating....Roller-skating rings too,Lots of different shopping centre.....Alot of families and kids go fishing and crabbing and also camping.....I'm sure you'll love it also there is plenty of work for adults and for teenagers too ,also P/T work if you're stll at school.

  5. Australia is a great place to live.   Here you have a chance to get on in life (if you want to work at it).   Owning your own house and piece af land is within your grasp unlike in England where you will get very little chance to ever pay it off.   There is a lot more room to live and enjoy your life as we are only 21000000 people in a country 32 times bigger than UK.

  6. Nobody can awnser that except for you.Have a holiday first and check it out.It may seem like an extra cost, but would be cheaper than moving here to find you don't like it.If you don't like it,enjoy your stay and what ever you do don't complain about Aussie to an Aussie as it gives you poms a bad name, and I would hate for you to hate us.

Good luck with what ever you decide.

  7. Well my Olds came out here from England as 'Ten Pound Poms'

about 1960 and forty plus years later they are still happy with the place so it can't be too bad  :-)

It's a bit unfair of you to ask 'what's it like?' -living in Tasmania, Darwin, Sydney  or beyond the Black Stump will all be very different experiences. Are you into sport, shopping, bird watching .....? Ask some good questions and I'm sure you'll get better answers.

  8. Doesn't matter where you live.  It's what you make of it that counts.  Blue skies everyday.

  9. That's a very broad question.  It really depends on what sort of weather your after; type of employment; interests; cost of living; rural or city living.

Why don't you contact Australia House in London.  They can give you plenty of information.

  10. It is the best place on Earth. Beautiful weather and fantastic people, food, lifestyle. Everyone I have ever met has fell in love with the country and I cant say I blame them!
