  1. France issued 10 Centimes coins from 1898-1921, including 1908.  These are moderately large, bronze coins that match your description.

My venerable 1999 edition of the Standard Catalog of World Coins, a reference book found in many public libraries, lists this coin in the France section, with catalog number KM-843 (where "KM" stands for Krause and Mishler, the original authors of the Standard Catalog).

It gives a retail catalog value (what a dealer might charge in their shop) of between $1 and $3 in average circulated condition (the grades that US coin collectors call Fine to Very Fine), and between $8 and $20 in high grades (Extra Fine to Uncirculated), that are close to the condition of the coin in the photo above.  The actual prices that one might buy this coin on, say, eBay, would likely be lower, but this all depends on supply and demand.
