Im looking for a good camcorder?

Im looking for a good camcorder in the $400 price range. IT MUST HAVE "AV in" The reason I need AV in is I am going to record videos off my xbox with it. Please just give me a name of a good camera and a website i can purchase it at.

DO NOT GET A DVD BASED CAMCORDER.

DVD camcorders compress too much. The video - for editing - is terrible. If you never plan to edit the video on a computer or upload to YouTube or other similar service or have no plans to email the video, then you may be OK...

Hard drive and flash memory camcorders are better, but the video is still compressed a lot.

MiniDV tape camcorder provide best available quality. DV and HDV is the least compressed which results in best video quality.

Rather than record the video to the camcorder, why not record the xBox video directly to your computer? Use an Analog/Digital bridge like a Pinnacle Dazzle or add a video capture card to your computer.
