  1. there are real ones, but the ones you will probably hear about are real work but hardly any pay.

stay away from the online garbage,  they are just trying to get you to sign up and promises of millions a month

if you are good at something you can look into what you like and see how you can fit it into your home work space.

  2. Yes, there are a lot of home based businesses that are real.  The one that I have done is in the telecommunications industry.  I partnered up seven years ago with a company called American Communications Network (ACN).  It's a 15 year old company that is the largest telecommunications service provider in the world.  In over 19 different countries.  You might of seen our company in several magazines like USA Today, Success, Fortune etc.  Inc 500 rated them the 22nd fastest growing company.  Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki. endorses our company, uses our products and is highly involved in the company. We market in services people use every day and pay for anyway.  Services such as local and long distance telephone services, Internet services, digital and video phone services, Satellite TV, VOIP as well as all major celluar phone providers.  T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, Alltel, Nextell etc.  I basically save people money on services that they are already using and paying for each month, and help people on new services.  I save people money on the cellular phones and contracts.  After I've helped someone on an existing service, or put someone on a new service, one way I get paid is everytime they pay their bills, I make a percentage of it month after month for work I did one time before.  Residual income.  Many different ways you generate an income from this business.

I recommend you read the book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad"  it will give you a lot of good insight information and show you a lot of the potential home based businesses have.

  3. I have 40 established websites I need to sale they come with everything domain names, content, products to resell and free unlimited web hosting.. this is a huge business and all offers considered.... you will keep %100 of all profits generated from these websites go to  http://www.creativetree.org for info

  4. Yes and no. I have seen a couple of actual data entry firms, but their waiting lists are two years long and the workers are tested before joining. Pay is piecework and the assignments are scattershot.

MLMs are "real," but they're money losers for 99% of the participants because the companies cannibalize the participants and soak them for inventory purchases, website fees, materials fees, and strictly regulate compensation and rewards. They don't let their consultants advertise, contrary to even the most rudimentary conception of running a business.

When it comes to working for yourself at home, the only person you can trust is yourself. Maybe start a niche staffing agency, bookkeeping service, graphic or web design, whatever you're talented or trained in.

  5. Most of the Home based Businesses are scam.

Thus, the Best is to utilise your time and resources more productively.

  6. Bad news, most of them are not real or would require an ungodly amount of work, time, or luck to achieve the results they promise.

Check out this from Entrepreneur.com.  It's a respected site and a very good magazine.

Inc.com is also pretty good, but their rankings, "Inc. 5000" is basically just a PR machine.  Some very shady companies there.

Buyer beware and remember that there is no shortcut around hard work.
