So you need to get a job as a CSR.  An unlicensed CSR is worth about minimum wage, as they can't do very much without a license.  

But doing the work - and listening to a licensed person do the rest - will go a long way towards helping you pass the test.

Kathryn, Call insurance agents in your area. You probably would qualify as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) handling existing accounts or some agencies have a position that is as an assistant to a CSR. Either position will give you some practical experience.

One caution, the practical world of insurance can be somewhat different from the more theoretical world of insurance examinations so you probably want to take the license exam while you still have that 52 hours of class work fresh in your mind.
