Im looking for a mad hatter costume, but it HAS to be like the one Tom Petty wore.?

Its for an 80s party, but I cant seem to find a mens costume even SIMILAR in color to the costume Tom Petty wore in the video "dont come around here no more" anyone have any ideas where I could possibly find one like it??

Yeah,

You're going to have a hard time with that since I'm 99% sure Tom Petty's costume was custom made.  You're probably just going to have to go to costume shops and ask around, however, the two links below have the "least cheesey" looking costumes...Good Luck

i'd say your best bet is to find a white or very light colored outfit and dye it that color.  and you'll probably have to paint the hat or even make it yourself.

Sorry, I haven't been able to find any purple men's Mad Hatter outfits anywhere, either. Maybe you could just assemble the various parts of the costume from local antique or thrift shops?
