Im looking for a movie made between late 80's early 90's. ?

I dont know which actors were in the movie , I dont know what the title is. All i remember is that it tells the story of a boy who was abused by his father , or someone who cared for him, and the man sewed the boys mouth shut and would beat him every night after telling him a bedtime story. One day the father came to beat the son but the boy hid something underneath his clothes or something and the boy killed his father and grew up to be either a villain of some sort or a hero. I remember watching this as a child and i've always remembered it and want to watch it again. PLEEEASE someone help me!!!! Ive searched everywhere and cannot find it..Thank you in advance.
