Im looking for a recipe that has a plum and kinda a bun type thing with sugar and butter on it .?

my dad thinks its a plum plot but i cant find anything like it or called that.

Could it be a Hungarian dish? Gomboc is a potato dumpling that gets boiled with a plum inside and then gets cooked up with butter, bread crumbs and sugar. They're amazing. I don't have my own recipe for it, but here's one I found that looks simple and good.

If you want to search for another one, you can search Hungarian Plum Dumplings - if you searched Gomboc, I think you'd get a lot of non-English sites!

EDIT: by the way, that's what my nickname "plumdumplings" is about - I completely forgot when I originally posted!!
