Best restaurant in London is in Finchley, next to Finchley Central Station.

Called Batasy, set meal for £7 (starter and main course) great selection and all cooked fresh. I guarentee you will not find better food or value.

Park round the side of HSBC, about 15m down you can park for free.

You could do a lot worse than trying The Marquess Tavern in Islington, it's nicely informal, has open fires, award winning food and after eating you can take a short walk along the 'New River Walk'.
