Im looking for airfare for 3 from louisville to phoenix. i have $800 to spend round trip. any suggestions?

First look up options on discount websites such as kayak.com, priceline.com, travelocity.com, etc.  Then look up the flights on actual airline websites, and compare.  Sometimes it's actually cheaper to book with the actual airline, because you then avoid booking fees. I could be wrong, but $800 for 3 people may not be enough anymore.  With the price of gas, airfare is going up!  When you are researching, try putting in different dates too, if your dates are flexible.

OK, I did a little bit of research myself, and the cheapest I found was on nwa.com.  Going there it has 2 stops, coming back it has one stop (and it's a red-eye)...but the cost is only $175.  You didn't say when you were wanting to go, so that could be different.  I put in for Thurs-Thurs in the middle/end of July...with dates being flexible.  Good luck!

I suggest not taking American Airlines.

-They charge $15 per bag to check in- most other airlines still offer at least 1 free bag to check in.

-They consistently have delays, cancellations, and late takeoffs
