You could try Sedgefield racecourse where Ridley won many races when he was stable jockey for the great Arthur Stephenson, though his most famous ride was the thinker beating hot pot Forgive and forget that day in a snowstorm so bad that the race was close to being abandoned , a fine and underrated jockey I met him several times and was saddened by his demise which was somewhat shrouded in uncertainty , I hope this helps you !

My friend, there are no pictures that you can find, it is impossible, unless you know someone who was there at the time the incident took place, which I highly doubt you will, I looked everywhere and did not find any pictures of 'Ridley Lamb', 'Jockey'...You will not find any pictures of ridley lamb my friend...

I remember The Thinker won the Cheltenham Gold Cup in a snowstorm - I was there.  Perhaps The Gloucestershire Echo or other local paper may have a picture.  Ask Al'stair Down if he could help - he lives locally at Moreton in the Marsh.  You may try periodicals like The Field. Or the newspaper local to where he lived might have shown a photo at the time he crashed.

Found out Ridley Lamb won the Cheltenham gold cup on the Thinker. its on a weather report @ www.bbc.co.uk/gloucestershire/weather/20... they may have some pictures, you could maybe email them and see. Good luck
