Im looking for the name of this flowering red tree?

I saw it mostly in south florida around the keys area. It had bright green leaves and lots of red flowers. Some also come in purple. Anyone know the name of this tree?

I'm in Australia so I'm only guessing but is it a Calliandra tree, they like it hot and humid.
