i don't remember much, but what i do is in bits... i remember a plane that is about to crash, but another beings time line or dimension stop time and swap out the passengers with human blanks, and then let the plane crash, that part is vivid to me, the only other part i remember is and artificial being quoting winston Churchill at the end. "This is not the end, nor is it the beginning of the end, it is the end of the beginning...or words to that effect, any ideas....cheers

  1. The film's name was Millennium, Not to be confused with the current offering.

  2. Millennium (1989)

starring Cheryl Ladd, Robert Joy, Lloyd Bochner, Brent Carver, Maury Chaykin, Al Waxman, Lawrence Dane

    IMDb synopsis:

Bill Smith (Kris Kristofferson), a National Transportation Safety Board investigator, is hired to determine whether human error is the cause of a jet crash. He and his team of investigators are confused by the words on the cockpit voice recorder by the crew relating to the crash. At the same time, Dr. Arnold Mayer (Daniel J. Travanti), a theoretical physicist named Dr. Arnold Mayer, has professional curiosity about the crash, which borders on science fiction. While giving a lecture, he talks about time travel and the possibility of visitors from the future.

    From IMDb:

    [last lines]

Sherman the Robot: "It is not the end. It is not the beginning of the end. It is the end of the beginning."
