Im looking into getting a Onkyo receiver (HT-S5100), and I want to hook my Wii up to it.?

The Wii comes with composite cables that ive pretty much figured out how I'd hook into the receiver, but I bought Component cables for it, and I don't see how that would work.

All the Onkyo recievers have only 'Component Video' and no Component Audio slots. If I were to buy this, will I be able to plug both the audio and video component cables in? And how would I get them to work together?

  2. Yes, when you connect to a component in, you'll need to assign it to the input source your audio cables are connected to.

    Look at page 45 of the manual.
