  1. go to the animal shelter and adopt one from there. i work as a vet tech and we spay/neuter every animal adopted from shelters before they go to their new families, and i have seen the sweetest dogs ever. every pet sheds at least a little, but frequent bathing/brushing helps. labs are good dogs who shed minimal, most train easy, and are good with kids, strangers, etc. but keep this in mind- the dog responds to how it is trained. i have 2 pit bulls and they are 2 of the biggest babies with people they know. you have have a Chihuahua and make it aggressive (which isn't hard trust me!) or you can have a pit bull and make it a baby....it just depends on how it is trained!

  2. a lab would be a good dog but a standered dauchson is also good if you want one that is not a tall.

  3. they sell little stuffed animals at walmart

  4. The best way to find the right one is selecting it through this site

    Enjoy!

  5. I would say a lab or Labrador retriever. I have one right now. They are so fun and they have great personalities. We just went to the lake and they can swim all day, it is really fun. They are great to train. They get things really quickly. I have almost got mine to roll over but i have only worked with him for a couple of days. They are GREAT companions. If they have any at the animal shelter you should save one or two (or more) and all dogs shed so you cant really not want a dog that doesnt shed but they dont shed all year and when they do, just for a while. You should get a great dane too they also have great personalities and love to be with you and i dont know if all of them are like it but mine isnt real smart but she knows how to sit and lay down and she potty trained really fast.Well i hope you make a good decision for yourself and i hope your happy with your soon to be new dog!

    Well i hope i helped!

  6. I have a westie and they dont shed AT ALL . they are usually good with kids and treat you like GOD when you get home.

  7. it depends on what you are looking for labs or good rotts it just depends big dog or small dog

  8. That is basically a shih-poo (mix between shih-tzu and poodle) They have the brains of a poodle (they are circus dogs making them really smart) and the low shed and great temper of a shih-poo!

They are hard to find. Try to find a good breeder.

    Good luck!

  9. id say a labrador, please adopt, and all dogs shed

labs shed but are GREAT TEMPERED and SUPER SMART, a week after we bought our lab pup, he learned sit

    EDIT

http://www.petfinder.com/dog-breeds click on a dog, they also have mixes if you go to this linkhttp://www.petfinder.com/ enter your zip click see all and experiment with breeds, also on the first one click a dog type to see temper/shedding

  10. you should definetly get a labrador. they are the best dogs. they are smart, and intelligent, and will love you to death. they are great companions and if you raise it right you will never regret it. i suggest getting a puppy from you local shelter. its always good to save a dog in need of a home. but before you bring him into your house, make SURE that you bring him to the vet for a flea and tick dip. we didnt do that and our house was infested with ticks. but yes, get a labrador.

  11. Border Collies are the smartest breed if dog, but require some grooming. If youre looking for a lap dog, Chi-poos(chihuahua/poodle)are smart, and the Pocket Beagle is a suggestion. Good Luck!
