Im looking to buy a cheap car?

im just getting my license and i want to get a fairly nice car. i probably wont be able to spend much more then 5 grand. what semi-nice car could i buy that i would be able to drift in? im not going to drift competitively or anything just for fun. any suggestions?

Mitsubishi Eclipse. They drift well(FWD)...I know , I have one. Really nice cars. Most of them you can find for less than $5000

First time drivers usually have much higher rates than others. And it depends from car.

Its impossible to drift in a front wheel drive car. You can do something else which is called skidding, and if you want a nice car it wont be nice for very long if you try it.

If you want a car that will drift it has to be rwd.  Examples:  Mustang, Charger.
