Im looking to put a blonde dye in my hair like Nice n' Easy. Is it safe to do so?

I was told that it could make my hair go green as i have highlights in my dark blonde hair which may have had bleach in it to lighten my hair.

Would it be safe to put a blonde dye in my hair like Nice n' Easy even though i have had colouring from a hair dressers before for highlights or would it react with the bleach and make my hair turn a funny colour?

It should be fine for your hair, but the chemicals will reduce your IQ by 50 points!   ;-}

it depends on how dark your hair is now. over the counter box dyes only have up to 20 vol developer which only lifts 2 shades where as a professional color can use 40-50 vol also you can go to a hairdresser and describe the color your hair naturally pulls like if it turns orange or red they can counter act the color to make it a perfect shade. im just afraid if you use a box and your hair is too dark you are likely to get real blonde at the scalp because of the natural warmth of your scalp and more brassy orange on the rest because the peroxide developer isnt strong enough.
