  1. Alright, im 15. I own a LT-z400. Powerful and everything with the addition of a Full Yoshimura exhaust and UNI Air filter. I think you should look for a 400ex or LTZ/kfx 400. They are manual with a clutch. This is the first atv that I've owned with a clutch. It only took me a day to learn the clutch. I like the clutch better now. I think you would too. A polaris will never last as long as a Honda 400ex or LTZ400 quality wise. Why do you think people still have 1980's Honda and suzuki atv's?  Or Yamaha? Or Kawasaki? You would be good with a 400ex. Thats my opinion...Good luck.

  2. This is a really vague question bud. But I will answer as best I can.

If you want a smaller quad, then hands down, get the new raptor 250. It is the best 250 quad out there right now, and anyone who says otherwise, really doesn't know what they are talking about. And that thing will keep up with 300cc quads because it is really light and has good power.

    As far as a 300cc....I wouldn't really buy a 300, either go for a 250 or a 400cc quad.

400cc quads. You have your choices, I would say go with the kfx400 or the LTZ400, why...because they have reverse. I own a TRX400EX and I would love to have reverse on it.

If you want to actually get into serious racing, you are going to want to get a 450. Now this leaves the door wide open for choices. You can go with yamaha, suzuki, kawasaki, honda, KTM, Can-am. I would suggest either a yamaha or a suzuki. If you want fuel injection then go with suzuki, if you don't mind jetting your carb then get a yamaha. The KTM's, kawasaki's, and Can-am's are all relatively new quads so they are still working out the kinks in them, thus I would not buy one yet. Honda's are great quads for squeezing out every last HP but I am not too fond of them.

Feel free to email me and ask me more questions, I am knowledgeable with quads. Hope this helped!

  3. Well, I am 14, but I am a girl so that means I am a lil different. But one of the best ATV's  I have ever had was a Polaris. It was so responsive and very smooth to ride. I even beat my older brother when i raced him with it. And He was using a dirtbike... KTM 450. Get a really nice ATV its so rewarding once you get the bike/ ATV

  4. buy a fast one, but make sure it is fast
